Architect/founder Ioannis Panagiotou (UACG M.Sc 2002, AUTH PGDip 2023 Advanced Design: Innovation and Transdisciplinarity in Design, AUTH PhD Candidate, School of Architecture) He has been an active Architect since 2004, having in his portfolio many realized projects of commercial buildings, private residential complexes, as well as interior and exterior architectural upgrade proposals space. He has also participated in international and panhellenic architectural competitions with two Honorable Mentions in 2023. His realized project was awarded in 2022 with the international Bronze A 'Design Award. His work has also been published in reputable Greek and international journals architecture websites. His architectural practice integrates research across multiple design fields and scales (urban design, landscapes, building design, interior, furniture) with a constant concern for the approach of innovation. P9 Arch Studio was founded by Architect Ioannis Panagiotou The establishment of P9 Arch Studio, aims at the innovation of the architectural project and the cutting edge design for projects of all scales.

My main achievement was to be awarded internationally with a project reusing conteiners, showing that even working in a city in the interior of my country, it is possible to do different and contribute to the production of design and architecture. I contribute to society by producing knowledge as a teacher in postgraduate programs, being a professional adviser in the national architects' autarchy and by always working in teams with professionals, trainees and clients, in a collective and plural manner. I believe that I become an interesting person when positioning myself in a restless way and always want to look for new ways to see the world and solve problems, be they in design or architecture.

In 2012 he founded his own practice, STARH, in the city of Varna, majoring in residential, hospitality and office architecture with wide variety of scale. In 2020 the studio has expanded by opening an office in Sofia as well. In this short time since its founding, STARH, has created an impressive portfolio of completed projects in the country, having recognizable quality in design. The studio has succeeded to positively affect the context with their work. The formula that they use is always striving for balance between aesthetics, functionality and quality in architecture that will last in time. Stepping out from the design comfort zone and experimenting with innovative materials is part of their character. Following these principles, major projects of the studio were born: A3 Advanced Architecture Apartments (2017), Varna Wave (2018), K Residence (2018), BGA Corporate Building (2019), B73 (2021). In recent years, their firm conviction led them to an international acclaim as well. STARH is a laureate in Architecture MasterPrize, Architizer A+ Award, IDA Design Awards, A' Design Awards, BigSEE. In 2018, 2020 and 2022 STARH was nominated for Building of the Year by ArchDaily.
